My name is Vanessa Vinos and I am the founding member of Vision Life Coaching.
I first became interested in life-coaching about 25 years ago when I went to an Anthony Robbins seminar. If you know anything about motivation/peak performance etc you will know he is one of the people who introduced life-coaching to the masses.At that time in the UK life coaching was pretty much unheard of, so I had to settle for devouring as many books, and attending as many seminars as I could. I stored the idea of being a life-coach away in my subconscious, and continued with life.
I then did what was "expected"-I obtained a Psychology degree from London University, and also obtained a Psychology Masters some years later. After graduating I took the obvious path into the cut-throat corporate world (as a young twenty-something the lure of making big bucks was too much too resist!), but something just never felt right.
So I got myself a coach and worked with my coach to set my own goals. One of my goals was to live somewhere sunny and warm (the UK winters were really starting to get to me). Having my own life-coach reinforced in my mind that the thoughts I had 15-20 years previously, were in fact what I still yearned to do. I then went to the USA and trained as Career Coach (I trained with one of the USA's top career-coaches- Laura Bergman-Forstang). I now run my own coaching business from a beautiful part of Spain, with clients from all over the world. Need I say more?
I am proof that coaching works and that anyone can live their best life-no compromises.
I am also a published writer, writing regularly about personal development/coaching and Psychology. I write for the largest English national newspaper in Spain, countless newsletters and e-zines in the UK, USA and Australia, and Psychologies magazine (an international publication), and am a Mentor for www.horsesmouth.co.uk
I am also the resident coach/mentor for the largest expat forum for women-www.expatwomen.com
Finally, you are probably wondering if I still have my own coach-ABSOLUTELY!!!!! I continue to "walk the talk" because I believe passionately in the product and service I provide.
